The goal of St. Bridget lunch program is to provide high
quality, nutritious lunches to all students. Eligible
students receive meals free or at a reduced price. An
additional goal is
to keep the price low for paying
students. The school lunches are governed by Federal (
U.S. Department of Agriculture) and state (Department of
Education) regulations, as well as policies the local
board of education deem necessary. The lunches are
planned by a certified school nutrition program director and school-level manager.
Lunches are pre-ordered one month in advance beginning the Tuesday after Labor Day through to the
final day of each school year.
Applications forms for free or reduced lunches will be
distributed the beginning of each school year.
However due to illness, unemployment, etc.
parents may apply anytime during the school year.
Students are not to leave school grounds
during lunch/recess.
