Kindergarten Screening:
Kindergarten screening for the 2010-2011 school year will
take place on
Friday, May 14th. There will be NO
school for the current Kindergarten
students on that date.
Spirit Day:
On June 3rd we will once again celebrate the traditional
outdoor
activities and indoor carnival. If you are in a
position to donate prizes
for games please bring them to the school office.
Students are to
wear their gym uniform on this day.
Last Day of School:
The last day of school will be Friday, June 4th for students
in grades
K-7. We will celebrate mass at 8:30 am as a school
family and
dismissal will be at 11:00am. Bus service will be
available.
Summer Hours:
The school office will be open June 7th - June 25th (9:00am -
12:00pm).
Messages and mail will be checked weekly during the summer
months.
The office will re-open August 16th - 23rd (9:00am -
12:30pm). The
office will open 7:30am beginning with the first day of
school on
Wednesday, August 25th.
Supply List:
Students are responsible for purchasing school supplies for
the
2010 - 2011 school year. A copy of the supply
list will be found in the
final report card.
Target Stores:
Target donates up to 1% of purchases to our school when the
REDcard
is used. We encourage parents, teachers, and
parishioners to get
involved with this easy way to support our school.
2010- 2011 School Calendar:
The 2010-2011 school calendar will be included in the final
report card.
Dates are subject to changes.
Second MMR Requirement:
All current 6th grade students entering the 7th grade in the
fall must
received their 2nd MMR shot and have a Dtap booster before
the first
day of school. If your child does not have these shots he/she
will not
be permitted to attend class until proof of the shots is
presented to the
school clinic. If you have any questions, please
contact the clinic.
IOWA Test Results:
This month your child/children will bring home the results of
the Iowa
Tests of Basic Skills that the students took in the spring.
If you have
questions after reviewing the Parent Profile Report please
contact the
homeroom teacher.
BINGO
Bingo continues throughout the summer months, If you are
scheduled to
sell instant tickets or work the kitchen please be prompt.
If you are
unable to work on your scheduled night it is your
responsibility to find
a replacement.
